How to Travel as a Broke College Student

Step 1: Take advantage of all the Opportunities and Resources.

As simple as it sounds, you may not realize all the opportunities around you at school or with your friends and family. It can start with your family vacations when you are young, and then sooner or later, mom and dad can ask you where you want to go. Take advantage! Family trips will always be the cheapest when mom and dad cover you! Do you have friends or family living in a different state or country? Visit! Not only will you have a place to stay, but you will also have your own personal tour guides who can help you get to know the region. In addition to using your family and friends, you also have resources at school! I was able to save a ton of money by going to school and building a strong team and getting everything planned in advance. Now that I’m in college, there are tons of people going abroad to study and really living there!

Step 2: Review all options.

I know I’m in college as much as I want to travel, I know I can’t go anywhere exactly when I want to. Make an order or list of all the best destinations you should definitely travel to. For me personally, when I can go to a new place and gain a new, new experience, I would like not to go to the same place in two places. Years ago, I put Spain at the top of my bucket list. Now, without waiting patiently and without attending mid-spring breaks, I can not only live there for a few weeks, but also visit at least three different destinations while abroad. list.

Step 3: PLAN → LAW

Set aside a jar or box and make a bank of your travel money. Even if you set aside $ 5 a few days or a week, if you give up eating and drinking with your friends and put that money in the box instead, you’ll see how quickly you can add up. On birthdays or holidays, instead of asking for material things to cover your needs, ask for donations for your travels. It helps when you tell your family where you want to go, what you want to do there, and how to make you happy. The sooner you start saving, the easier it will be when it’s time to buy your ticket. In addition to earning money, start putting your plans together. The more research you do, the more money you can save yourself and prepare your budget. I have found that if you plan to spend each of your days doing it, it often saves you money on shopping, food, and even time-wasting work.
